About Lauren

I'd describe my personality as funny, caring, and attentive! I like working with kids because I enjoy how much energy they have and I'm inspired by their curiosity. I enjoy outdoor projects, adventures, arts and crafts, and finding fun ways to keep the kiddos busy. I'm looking for a job that allows me to be creative and spend some time outside with the kids. I started working with kids when family friends of ours had their third and fourth babies a couple years ago and I expanded to other families as well! In my spare time, I like to spend time with family and friends, going outdoors, I love to swim, go on hikes and read a good book. I also like to do arts and crafts! One thing you should know about me is for two weeks I worked with children under 1 years old for my senior service requirement. I enjoyed getting to know each of the children in my care and their unique personalities My skills include active listening, understanding body language, and patience.
