About Lauren

Hi! I'm Lauren. I was born and raised in LA and am one of 3 siblings. I started babysitting my younger brother when I was 11, and I started working with kids ages 4+ through my middle school around that time. I spent my last 2 years of high school in India where I helped design a curriculum about feminine health and physical safety to empower school-aged girls in rural communities. I returned to LA in 2020 and have been working and studying ever since. My favorite activities to do with children are reading, drawing, arts and crafts, playing pretend, building, and more! I can also take care of light cleaning, organizing and meal prep, among other things. I'm COVID vaccinated and am CPR and first aid certified. My biggest priorities in my approach to childcare are being positive, loving, silly, and engaging while maintaining routine. I'm a huge team player and believe in continuity between your parenting and my care. I have excellent references as well. I can't wait to meet you!
