About Lauren

I have been passionate about working with children for about a decade, inspired by my mother who was also a teacher. From a young age, volunteering at her workplace, I knew I wanted to pursue a career in education. I take immense pride in witnessing the developmental milestones of toddlers, whether it's their first time using scissors or managing to calm down with a sip of water. My classroom approach is enriched by my unique skills, including the use of music and sign language, alongside experience gained from working with a speech pathologist. This diverse background equips me with a distinctive perspective in teaching language. Additionally, my commitment to education extends beyond the classroom through extensive volunteer work in special needs settings. My journey has included roles as a Teacher Assistant and various positions as a nanny for private families, where I've nurtured and supported children's growth and learning in a loving and educational environment.
