About Lauren

I can't express how much we loved having Lauren as our nanny for our 8 month old daughter for several months before we moved from San Francisco back to Australia. Losing Lauren was one of the worst parts of leaving! First and foremost, our daughter A absolutely ADORED her so it made it so much easier to leave her with someone else. Lauren took her on daily outdoor adventures to the park, was completely focused and switched on the entire time they were playing together, and was great at keeping A engaged and happy. She was great at getting A to sleep and settle and was happy to follow whatever process we had in place. She was also always timely and reliable, which I appreciated. Beyond her natural affinity with children, Lauren is also an incredible cook, extremely clean, and was so diligent, efficient and hard-working that she always wanted more jobs to do - which means she would cook us amazing meals while A napped and would also clean up after herself so the apartment was tidier when she left than when she arrived! This was all above and beyond anything I ever wanted or expected from a nanny - I can't believe we struck it so lucky. Entrusting your baby to a stranger (especially for the first time) is one of the hardest things to do as a parent, but my experience with Lauren made it a genuine pleasure. This is a no-brainer - you should hire her immediately!
