About Lauren

I am a patient and supportive tutor with a Bachelor's degree in Education and elementary student teaching experience. During my student teaching, I worked closely with students to strengthen their understanding of core subjects, build confidence, and develop effective learning habits. I enjoy making learning engaging and approachable by using educational games, creative activities, and hands on strategies that match each child's learning style. I believe in creating a calm and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. I am comfortable working with students of all age groups, particularly at the elementary level. I can provide help with homework, reading, comprehension, and foundational academic skills, while also supporting organization and study habits. I am flexible with scheduling and committed to helping students grow both academically and in their confidence as learners.
