About Lauren

Hi! My name is Lauren and I have been a Certified Nursing Assistant for nine years. I have cared for people both in long term care facilities and at home with multiple years of experience in both settings. I am currently a nursing student and will hopefully be taking a permanent job in geriatrics after graduation. I have cared for clients with vastly different health issues from cancer to Alzheimer's, lasting from six months to five years. My long term client was a married couple under the direct supervision of nursing staff, a husband with cancer and a wife will Alzheimer's. Under the nurses direction, I assisted with Trachea care, catheterization, assisted with daily living and transferring, pain and medication management and transportation to and from doctors appointments and other activities. Short term care included short term rehab care, surgical care with ADLs and hospice. I truly enjoy senior care, because everybody deserves compassionate care at all stages of life. If you have
