Hi! I'm Lauren and love working with children of all ages. All throughout high school I was a babysitter and after I graduated college, I decided to have a career as a nanny, with a dream of opening a small(boutique) daycare someday down the line. After working with a few families over the years and becoming kind of like an extended family member, I can truly say I love what I do! I enjoy cooking, reading, adventures with my husband, daughter, and two chocolate labs! Being able to provide exceptional care in a safe, structured environment is what I strive for with your family, along with some fun! My daughter, who was born in March 2022, will be tagging along with me so I'm hoping to find a family ideally with a child the same age/close in age as L that is comfortable with me bringing her along! We are so lucky that Lauren has been the Nanny to our kids for the last 4 years on a daily basis. I would love to keep Lauren until both kids are done with college. Sadly, the kids are growing up and my work schedule is changing so that we don't need a nanny any longer. Our kids are now 12 and 10 - they love Lauren and will miss her company. Here is why: Lauren is fun, energetic, creative, reliable, a good listener and a good mentor, she understands parents' concerns and follows instructions and has a really good feeling for when something is wrong and knows how to handle it. Over the years our kids have grown into wonderful young individuals thanks to Lauren being a great role model. Lauren sits for hours doing arts and crafts with our daughter and she challenges our son for a game of soccer in the garden. She is also great with the dog. The kids schedules have gotten very busy over the years. Lauren stays on top of it all and also makes sure I don't forget :-). We wish her the Best!
