About Lauren

Hi, I'm Lauren. I just graduated with my degree in nursing from UNLV. I am currently studying for my nursing board exam and am applying for RN positions. In the meantime, I am looking for a senior care position. I have experience working as a senior caregiver for two clients in NYC. I helped around the house and helped them do the things they enjoyed such as going shopping or to the park. I also assisted with more medical-related help such as making appointments, taking notes at doctor's visits and assisting with medication management. In the past I worked with patients with autism, dementia, traumatic brain injury, mood disorders, and schizophrenia. I absolutely loved spending time and listening to these types of patients. Although I know how to medically care for them, my favorite part of my experience was simply spending extra time to get to know them. I am also a big believer in motivational care for clients looking to have better relationships with family, eat healthier, etc.
