About Lauren

I have 6 years of experience, both teaching in schools and childcare in the home. I have been a teacher for ages ranging between 6 weeks-6 years, a long term babysitter for 2 beautiful girls ages 3-4, and a nanny to a special needs toddler (and his baby brother!) I supported mom through pregnancy alongside of taking care of their 2-year-old, and had baby brother from newborn until almost 2 years. I enjoy meal prep/laundry, little daily to-do's, and errands outside the home. I don't mind walking long distances, time outside is a must! I am super goofy and energetic and I'm not afraid to make a fool of myself if I can get a laugh out of my kiddos. I love rough and risky play (within reason) and encouraging self trust and independence, I'm also really great with picky eaters. Even older kids that REFUSE. Cooking/feeding journeys of all kind interest me. All in all, children are little people with their own experiences and I love and respect them as such
