I'd describe my personality as down to Earth, kind, and patient. I like tutoring because it brings me so much joy to see a concept click for a student that once found that particular subject anxiety and stress inducing. It is great to be able to help a student get to the point of understanding and applying! I started tutoring during my time volunteering for Big Brothers Big Sisters during college. I then worked in a teaching assistant position at Gettysburg College, helping students in general chemistry. In my spare time, I like to read, play guitar, go to the gym, listen to music, and knit!
