About Lauren

Hi! My name is Lauren, and I love working with kids. Currently, I am an undergraduate student at the University of Oregon, studying to become a licensed therapist. After undergrad, I plan to attend graduate school and obtain a master's degree in child psychology! I have recently accepted a position with the Relief Nursery in Eugene, where I work with toddler-aged children, aiding in building trusting relationships with their peers as well as other adults. These children face or have faced adversity in their lives, and it is my job to allow them space to develop healthy boundaries and learn how to cope with being in a classroom setting with trusting adults. I'd describe my personality as easy-going, hard working, and motivated In my spare time, I like to hang out with my friends, color, and be outside enjoying the beautiful Oregon weather! To preface, I will be in the Portland area starting in the middle of June. I will unfortunately have to return to Eugene in September.
