About Lauren

As a friendly and patient childcare provider with 6 years of experience, my passion for working with kids was ignited by my positive experiences in previous babysitting roles. Every child is unique, and I find immense joy in nurturing their growth and development. My approach to caregiving is centered around open communication with parents. Whether through verbal updates at pickup or regular texts or phone calls, I ensure that parents are well-informed with updates and any concerns I have. I firmly believe in following the parents' lead when it comes to enforcing household rules, as each family has its own set of values and expectations. One of my favorite parts of childcare is getting to create new games and activities for the kids. I love games that involve sports and outdoors as well as more chill crafts and board games. I also have experience in tutoring middle and elementary age children in reading and math; so I love to find ways to make learning fun!
