Hello! I'm a recent graduate from UW-River Falls with a B. S. in Elementary Education and a minor in Early Childhood. As I begin this exciting new chapter post-college, I'm looking to connect with families in the area and offer childcare over the summer. I bring four years of experience working in childcare centers and after-school programs, along with past nannying experience for a toddler. I'm currently seeking a full-time summer position while I explore teaching opportunities for the fall (nothing's confirmed just yet!). I approach childcare with energy, positivity, and a whole-child mindset-drawing on my background in education, musicality, and social-emotional development. Lauren was our nanny for our 1.5 year old this past summer. She brought her to the park, read her books, played outside, fed her lunch, put her down to nap, etc. Our daughter can be shy at first/have separation anxiety but she warmed up to Lauren very quickly and is very fond of her. Lauren worked hard to connect with our daughter, and it paid off - it was so sweet to see our daughter be so comfortable and happy with Lauren! Lauren was also very good about keeping our daughter on a consistent schedule while still being flexible based on her needs (to which she was very perceptive). Even though our daughter has not seen Lauren in a few weeks now, she continues to say "Lolo" when doing activities that remind her of Lauren like drawing with chalk. It's very sweet. In sum, you'd be very lucky to have Lauren care for your children. She is kind, friendly, playful, responsible, mature, and incredibly reliable (never once late). We are so glad Lauren was in our daughters' life this summer!
