Hi! My name is LJ. I am moving from Vermont to the Hanford/Visalia area, and looking to find a nanny position. Available starting 8/5/26. I bring with me over 7 years of mother's helper/nannying experience, as well as 4 years of classroom teaching experience. I have my Masters degree in Environmental Science Education. My nanny experience ranges from ages 4mo through 8 years old, and my teaching experience is in preschool and grades 1/2. I am both First Aid and CPR certified. I am energetic, responsible, and reliable. I love child led play and exploration, and am no stranger to arts and crafts! Being outside and exploring nature are very important to me (if you haven't guessed that already!) I can provide previous employer references! I have my own safe and reliable car! I do not smoke! Lauren is incredible! My family and I are so sad that life is taking her to the west coast. Perhaps my loss can be your gain. Lauren is a wonderful human. She joined our family back when my daughter was 2.5 and my son was a newborn. Due to Covid, my daughter had never had a non-parent caregiver, but Lauren was so warm and loving that my daughter quickly took to her and they’ve been buddies ever since. Lauren’s role in our family has changed over the years as all of our lives have evolved, but after five years, we all love her dearly and she’s a bonus member of our family. My husband and I absolutely love how sincerely Lauren enjoys getting outside and learning, playing, and exploring alongside the kiddos. Her environmental science and teaching background means that even playtime can be enriching and educational! And our kids love that Lauren is still a kid at heart, enthusiastically joining in a game of Barbies, play doh “baking,” Lego building, creative crafting, and more.
