About Lauren

Oldest of four and lifelong babysitter, I love making kids laugh, feel safe, and have fun. I bring patience, playfulness, and a little silliness to every day! :) My personality is kind, dependable, calm, and attentive. I like working with kids because they're curious, honest, and fun to be around. I enjoy being somebody they feel safe and comfortable with. I'm looking for a kind, welcoming family where I can build trust, support their kids, and feel like a helpful part of their routine. I started working with kids as soon as my siblings were born. I expanded to taking care of neighborhood kids when I was 14. I'm a creative! I love to have fun by coloring, writing, dancing (poorly), singing, and reading. Sometimes I attempt roller skating. Something you should know about me is that I value communication and always want parents to feel comfortable and informed. My skills include attentive supervision, patience and emotional awareness, and building trust and connection.
