About Lauren

My entire approach to childcare revolves around two things: "let kids be imaginative energetic, and unique" and "let parents know it's ok to need a helping hand". For the past five years I have been a live-in nanny to a local household with 5 children. I have also provided day time child care to a set of twins over the past 2 years and other children before that. I have been CPR and first aid trained. Children, in my opinion, love to learn. I encourage them to use their imagination. I have been known to create trivia games to help study for tests, build obstacle courses to learn to work in partnership with siblings, I have given cooking and sewing lessons to help children learn that clothes and meals don't magically appear from Amazon. I encourage families to spend time together, especially spouse date nights. It's hard to push through without those laughing moments! I hope to help fill in where I can and make life just a little easier for every family that needs me.
