About Lauren

My name is Lauren. I was born and raised in Kearny, NJ. I moved away for a short period and lived in Providence, Rhode Island for a few years. I am compassionate, loving, and a go with the flow woman who adores children, yet can be firm at times if required. I am a creative person. Art and more specifically baking, has been a great outlet and passion of mine. This led me to attend Johnson & Wales University and obtain my associates degree in baking and pastry arts. Along with baking, I love outdoor activities including biking, hiking, and camping. As a childcare provider, I enjoy sharing my love of being creative through all outlets! I have come to understand that children come into the world a blank slate. The experiences, environment, as well as their surroundings are what shape them into who they become. I feel our responsibility as caregivers is to provide children with the best possible educ I have 3 years experience working with children ages 3-10 that have special needs.
