About Lauren

I'm a certified teacher with over 16 years of childcare experience. I graduated from The College at Brockport with a childhood inclusion grades 1-6, special education and a health science degree. I taught at the ICD at BU and then transitioned into social work for kiddos. My passion for nurturing children's growth and development led me to this fulfilling career. I believe in fostering a safe, stimulating environment where children can flourish. I'm patient, creative, and approachable, and I prioritize clear communication with parents. I'm comfortable enforcing household rules and enjoy playing various games with children, including outdoor sports, board games, and educational games. I'm more than willing to assist with cooking, meal preparation, carpooling, light housekeeping, travel, and even swimming supervision, as I'm a skilled swimmer!
