About Lauren

Hi! I'm Lauren! I'd describe myself as patient, empathetic, present, and playful. I love working with children and creating a safe, supportive, and fun environment! I'm a Certified Child Life Specialist working in a hospital setting and am looking for part-time work that fits my schedule. I have a B. S. in Child Development and an M. S. in Child Life. I've been working with children since high school in a variety of settings! In my current role, I support children and families through developmentally appropriate play, education, preparation, and emotional support. My education and experience have given me a strong understanding of child development and how to meet each child where they are. I value open communication with families and take the time to understand their routines, values, and parenting preferences so I can provide consistent care. I look forward to connecting and discussing how I can support you and your family while helping your children grow and thrive!
