About Lauren

Hi! I'm Lauren, a 22-year-old, Occupational Therapy graduate student at UB! I adore working with children and have since I was 14 years old, babysitting children in my local community on Long Island, as well as teaching swim lessons through my private swim club to children aged from 2-9. I have a job as an Assistant Teacher at an early childhood intervention center in Buffalo, NY where I work with children 11 months - 4 years. My work as an Assistant Teacher is currently put on hold due to my 3 month stay here in Peekskill for my Occupational Therapy fieldwork. Im currently observing & learning from two amazing and experienced Occupational Therapists at two local elementary schools. I am very familiar with working with kids of varying diagnoses and equipped to give your child the attention they need and deserve. I'm excited to build on my experience and application of my knowledge, while also receiving a consistent source of income during this time.
