About Lauren

Hello! My name is Lauren and I just moved into the neighborhood from Connecticut! I have found that I have time to assist other families as I get settled into my new home. I have a degree in Biology and Psychology from UConn and am currently pursuing my MSW from my alma mater. My work history includes being a foster care case worker which has allowed me to work with a very diverse population of children, ranging from children on the ASD spectrum to children with learning disabilities and children with behavioral disabilities. I love kids and pets and have years of experience with both, working for other families in my hometown of West Hartford while in high school and undergrad and with my foster kid clients. I speak fluent Spanish and have experience in tutoring children in the language as well. I am CPR certified and have my own mode of transportation I can also send my resume upon request.
