My first passion in life is caring for people of all ages - from newborn to those in their nineties.... I just love people. I believe everyone deserves a loving and nurturing environment in which to grow, thrive, and have the best quality of life possible. I have run daycare for children with special needs, worked as a Youth and Family Counselor, as a Children's Librarian, and for the past 3 years I have been helping care for a mute quadriplegic boy as well as caring for a sweet woman after having a brain aneurysm. For 3 years prior I cared for elderly dementia patients in their homes. My duties included everything from special diets/meal prep and cooking, homeschooling, medication management and administration, appointments, shopping, bathing, cleaning and laundry, engaging and entertaining, and mobility assisting. If there were a way to award more than five stars, we would do so without hesitation. Lauren has provided our son with the highest standard of care imaginable. She is completely reliable and it is evident that she genuinely loves caring for children, as demonstrated by the exceptional care she has given our son.
