About Lauren

I'd describe my personality as warm, patient, enthusiastic. I like working with kids because children inspire me to see life through a first-timers lens. I started working with kids when I began babysitting in High School! I was also a mentor for children in elementary school and camp counselor. In my spare time, I like to sit in the park, write, hangout with friends, or explore a new area. One thing you should know about me is I am currently a therapist, and I am passionate about early childhood development. It is important that I do my best to attune to children, allow them to experience their authentic selves, and be a calm source when they are experiencing big/overwhelming emotions. My skills include patience, communication with caretakers, and creativity.
