About Lauren

My name is Lauren! I am 28 years old, live in North Brooklyn, and am CPR certified. I graduated with a Master's in Education Mental Health Counseling & currently work part-time as a Psychotherapist. I have learned from myself & others that I have innate patience & curiosity for every type of person, especially young children. Through my professional work with adults, as a summer camp counselor, previous mentor for elementary students, and my experience babysitting, I have grown passionate about safe & healthy engagement with children. I also value open communication with parents/guardians. As a caregiver, I strive to not only fulfill basic requested responsibilities, but also help cultivate a supportive environment that attunes to the specific needs of your children. I love spending time with kids & am constantly inspired by their creativity. I look at behavioral challenges as opportunities to learn about their individual needs. I am warm, calm, and I love games, play, and art!
