Hi! I'm Lauren, a dedicated caregiver with nearly 20 years of experience, having supported children from newborns to school age. I began as a YMCA camp counselor in Indianapolis, IN where I'm from and I grew into a live-in nanny role in NYC, and have since balanced childcare with my work as an actor, model, and writer. Families describe me as warm, thoughtful, and reliable, and I cherish building lasting, caring connections. I'm currently seeking a weekly part-time role, ideally Monday through Friday and I can be available for occasional weekend sitting, too. Because of my acting schedule, I occasionally need time off for shoots, but I'm usually able to give notice. I would be ideal for anyone in need of after school pickup and a little homework help and/or dinner help. Lauren is one of the most thoughtful, energetic and empathetic caregivers who we have worked with. We have used Lauren for regular after school pickups and one-off playdates since our daughter was about 2 years old. Lauren is consistently thoughtful, delightful and most of all, patient with our increasingly toddler-esque toddler. She comes up with games, helps promote creative activity and is most of all, sensitive to what our daughter needs in the moment. Communication has been clear and consistent. Availability has been flexible, though Lauren is also clear about when she won't be able to work. Strongest recommendation and we look forward to continuing to work with her.
