About Lauren

Mom of a 6-year-old little girl and a newborn! I recently relocated to Saraland and I am leaving my job. I have worked in the Accounting field for roughly 7 years. I worked in a church nursery from the age of 10 and have been a full time nanny for two different families from ages 16-21. I am from Birmingham, the middle child of 5, and my family did foster care while I was growing up, with up to six additional children in our home. I learned a lot and was able to give those children a lot of love and compassion they hadn't been given before. This experience made me want to work with children as I got older, but somehow I ended up in accounting! I was a single mom to my oldest for 5 years and I am hoping to spend more time with my kids now that I have a partner. My goal is to find a family that would allow me to keep my newborn with me. I'm hoping to find a family I can support long term through this most wonderful adventure of a raising kids to become kind and compassionate people.
