A compassionate licensed chaplain, committed to serving others during some of the most trying times of life. With a skillful ear in listening too, engaging with, & supporting others, I have over 10 years experience in caring for the elderly, specifically w/ dementia. My goal is to help enable them to maintain independence & age gracefully w/ in their own home. I adeptly adjust my approach to meet the unique needs of each individual ensuring that they can continue to lead fulfilling lives while receiving the proper assistance & emotional / spiritual support. I offer a comforting, stable presence & provide a sense of security w/ in the familiarity of the home offering support to all involved. Loneliness & isolation can have a negative impact on the emotional well-being of the elderly so I engage in conversations, listen attentively, & provide empathy creating a nurturing environment which fosters a sense of belonging for the elderly during these often lonely times of life.
