About Lauren

Hi! I am a certified elementary educator and Reading Specialist with over 10 years of experience supporting K-5 students. I currently serve as a Reading Coach and School-Based Team Leader, where I analyze student reading data and design targeted interventions to accelerate literacy growth. I specialize in helping struggling readers strengthen phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, and comprehension using research-based practices aligned with the Science of Reading. My sessions are individualized, engaging, and focused on identifying skill gaps and helping students make measurable progress while building confidence. I also help families understand their child's reading data, school assessments, and intervention plans so they can better support and advocate for their child's progress. Certifications: Florida Certified Teacher - Elementary/Childhood Education, Exceptional Student Education (ESE), ESOL Endorsed, and Literacy Coach.
