About Lauren

Hi, I'm Lauren! I'm 32 and recently returned to Miami, where I was born and raised. After several years working in a senior recruiting role, I'm taking a step back from corporate life to focus on more meaningful, people-centered work. Caregiving is something that's always come naturally to me. I come from a close-knit Cuban-American family and grew up helping care for my younger sister and cousins, which sparked my love for working with kids early on. Over the years, I've also worked as a camp counselor and as an afterschool nanny for a child with special needs while in college. That experience taught me patience, adaptability, and how to create a supportive, engaging environment for every child. I'm also comfortable with pets and have reliable transportation. I'd describe myself as compassionate, playful, and easygoing, but also responsible and attentive. I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your children, and I take that responsibility seriously.
