About Lauren

I love and have worked with animals my whole life. Our family always has had cats, and I have helped feed and care for them since I was a small child. I also have worked as a dog sitter for a couple of families in my neighborhood. These jobs have included walking, feeding, playing, and administering medications. Whether the animals are playing fetch, chasing a string or just running around, I love being with them. I also have worked as a volunteer at an animal hospital in my hometown, where I was able to observe the vets examine and treat small animals. I have been a horseback rider for 10 years and love helping out with the horses at the barn in my spare time. I have even worked with Capuchin monkeys who were being trained to help the disabled by a social service agency in Allston, Massachusetts.
