About Lauren

Empowering students to reach their full potential drives my approach to education. With 10 years of experience as a Certified teacher, I specialize in helping elementary and middle school students master Math and English. I believe every learner possesses unique strengths, so I prioritize building confidence and fostering a genuine love for discovery over simple memorization. By breaking complex problems into manageable steps and maintaining open communication, I ensure that each lesson is tailored to your specific needs. I celebrate every "aha!" moment and provide consistent positive reinforcement to keep momentum high. Whether we meet at your home, my home, or the library, I am dedicated to creating a supportive environment where you feel comfortable tackling new challenges. Seeing you gain the skills and self-assurance to achieve your academic goals is the most rewarding part of my work. I look forward to growing together.
