About Lauren

I am an in-home educator with over 20 years experience. I specialize in infant care through to school age. My early childhood care and education philosophies are a combination of Montessori, Developmental, Reggio-Emilia and Progressive methods. I often find myself saying, It takes a village, meaning I aim to work with parents as a team to encourage independence, self confidence and to ensure a fun and safe environment. I am an avid skier, whitewater rafter, and hiker. In other words, I love being outdoors and want to inspire the children in my care to explore and observe the outside world around them as well. Reading, music, crafts/creativity, dancing, and being silly are also high on my list and something I incorporate often with the children in my care.
