About Lauren

Hi! My name is Lauren, and I have been working with children for around 8 years through babysitting, coaching field hockey, and being a summer camp counselor. I have cared for children ages 6 months and up and love creating a safe, loving, and engaging environment for them to grow and explore. I am a college graduate currently pursuing my master's degree at UMW and am looking to work with a family in the Fredericksburg area throughout the school year. Families describe me as patient, energetic, and dependable. I enjoy playing outdoors, doing arts and crafts, organizing educational games, exploring nature, and encouraging kids' creativity. I'm happy to assist with cooking, meal preparation, light housekeeping, homework help, carpooling, and travel. I have my own reliable transportation, a clean driving record, and am in the process of getting a CPR/First Aid certification. I'm comfortable caring for multiple children at once and can be available weekday mornings/afternoons.
