About Lauren

I started working with kids when I was 14! I was hired by a church to help with childcare during weekday Bible studies. Since then, I've worked for a summer camp for children and adults with disabilities, an after school care program, and for the Olathe school district as a substitute teacher. In my spare time, I like to take my sweet dog, Mabel, on walks and to the dog park. I also enjoy watching TV and playing video games with my husband. One thing you should know about me is I will have a daughter who will be joining me for most of my jobs! I plan on starting in December 2024-January 2025, so I will have a small infant. My skills include conflict resolution, multitasking, and flexibility. I have worked with a very wide range of personalities, disabilities, and behaviors, which allows me to adapt to the needs of most kids! I also have a Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Health.
