I am a school-based occupational therapist who is looking to fill some of my summer off with child-care opportunities. I have over 10 years of experience with children in addition to a Masters degree in occupational therapy, and two years of experience as a school-based OT. I am comfortable with infants, toddlers, children, tweens, and teens. I am very comfortable working with children with a variety of abilities and diagnoses. Additionally, I am CPR/first-aid certified. I like to bring a bag with stimulating, entertaining, and age appropriate games and crafts for children when I am providing care. I am a big believer in engaging kids in play, so you can count on your child or children having a blast while they are in my care. Lauren was an amazing babysitter for our 6-month-old! We were in Maine for a wedding and knew we couldn't bring the baby to the wedding events, so we found Lauren on this site. I had a quick Zoom call with her ahead of time, and she followed up with a couple references. After speaking with Lauren and her references (who both had great things to say), I knew our baby would be in great hands! On the day of, she was on time and communicative. She listened as I explained our routines (bedtime, feedings, etc.) and I left feeling so comfortable. My husband and I were able to enjoy our night out, and appreciated getting a few updates from Lauren throughout the evening! So glad we found her, highly recommend.
