About Lauren

Hello! My name is Lauren and I am a new resident to Wolfeboro, NH (full time resident starting 8/12), originally from CT. I am currently a special education teacher in a self contained classroom for children with Autism. I am looking for a weekend or early morning/ later afternoon/night job house sitting, pet sitting, or caring for those with special needs (of all ages). I have my master's degree in special education K-12. I have experience with people with disabilities ranging from 1-21 years old. I have worked with students with a variety of disabilities. I'm a huge pet lover and have 2 dogs of my own - I was fortunate enough to watch and learn from my parents on how to train dogs with the use of positive reinforcement since I was a child. We had various animals growing up - cats, dogs, hamsters, guinea pigs, fish, and birds. Those who know me best would describe me as caring, thoughtful, kind, flexible, active, and a quick learner.
