Hello! My name is Lauren. I am a lover of nature and art! I had my own jewelry business for 3 years and currently have my own photography business. I also love to play with clay, collaging, sewing and I always seem to be exploring something new! I enjoy getting outside whenever possible, whether thats camping, hiking, road tripping to further beautiful places, or just sitting in my backyard. A little about myself as a caregiver: I worked full time as a nanny for 1 kiddo from May 2021-August 2023. Prior to nannying, I worked with kids ranging from age 5-14 in a clinical setting for 2. 5 years. I enjoy both facilitated and child-led play and learning in nature immersive and outdoor activities, arts and crafts, games, reading stories. I emphasize autonomy and independence while holding firm boundaries and helping to facilitate natural learning opportunities. I value gentle communication, conversation around emotions and problem solving to guide kids through difficult moments.

It’s my pleasure to recommend Lauren as a childcare provider. She worked with our family for this past school year, picking up and providing after-school care for our 9-year-old and helping our 11-year-old get to and from her activities. She’s incredibly patient, genuinely caring, and connects with kids while maintaining clear and respectful boundaries. Our children always felt safe and comfortable with her, and she consistently created a calm, structured, and fun environment. In addition to caring for our kids, Lauren was a huge help around the house. She pitched in with grocery shopping, cooking, light housework, yard work, and even helped with occasional house maintenance projects. She cooked truly delicious meals and was happy to lend a hand wherever it was needed. One of the things we appreciated most about Lauren is her flexibility—whether we needed to shift schedules around last-minute or needed extra support, she was always reliable and accommodating. She handled everything with a steady, positive attitude that made a big difference in our daily lives. Lauren is also an excellent communicator—whether it’s about the weekly schedule, day-to-day logistics, or our kids’ development, she always kept us in the loop in a clear, thoughtful, and proactive way.
