About Lauren

Hi there! I'm Lauren. My dog Luca and I love adventures, meeting new people, and, of course, a good sweet treat! I'm a freelance photographer, which gives me the flexibility to set my own schedule and work around a family's needs. I have about 6 years of experience caring for children of all ages, along with Early Child Development coursework and current CPR and First Aid certifications. I grew up around sports and the outdoors and love keeping kids active and engaged. I was a swim coach for 5 years, working with infants through 18-year-olds, and a girls' volleyball coach for 7 years. Coaching has taught me to be patient, encouraging, and adaptable while helping kids build confidence and learn new skills. I'm definitely competitive myself, so I love a good game or challenge! I'm comfortable with homework help, activities, driving children, pets, light housekeeping, and creating fun adventures. Most importantly, I want kids to feel safe, comfortable, supported, and have fun!
