About Lauren

*My availability starts in August, my hours for the family I nanny for will be going down to 1-5 M-F so I am looking for another smaller gig to make up the difference!* Hi! I'm Lauren. I've been working with children full-time since April 2022, as a preschool teacher and nanny. I also teach music lessons to both children and adults one evening a week! Seeing a child's perspective of the world never gets old, and making sure kids are safe/happy is a fulfilling job for me. That being said, I'm looking to work with parents who are fully invested in their kids' wellbeing and care about how they are growing as people. My approach to working with children values empathy, individuality, imagination, and fostering a love of nature! I'm looking for a family environment that is comfortable, fun loving, mindful, and most importantly has good communication. I'm also an artist, so if any of your children are creatively inclined, I would be able to help them in developing their skills!! :)
