My experience includes Nurse's Assistant in a hospital New Born/Intensive Care Nursery, Teacher's Assistant in classroom for students with multiple disabilities and an Assistant for students in a Hospital School Program. This unique range gives me an excellent foundation for working with a wide variety of children. I believe in finding each child's interests and abilities. In using assertive devises and technology to enable every child to explore and learn. In cleanliness, dignity and comfort for all children. While education based, my skills include basic care with feeding, bathing, dressing, Range of Motion, positioning and offering a variety of stimulus. I live in SE Portland and prefer starting with a family part time, after school or date night/respite care. I may be open to expanding hours in the future.
