About Laurel

Hi! My name is Laurel, I'm originally from Dayton and I'm currently in my fourth and final year of undergraduate study at Ohio State. I'm available on Monday/Wednesday/Friday afternoons and evenings (through the beginning of January, at least) to help tutor in a variety of subjects. These include anything related to English language and composition, reading and writing skills, French I and II classes, as well as AP Euro and AP US History classes. I have previous experience working with fifth grade through high school students in an educational setting. Growing up with four younger siblings, I've developed quite a bit of patience. I'm willing to take as long as it takes to explain something while also being sure to answer questions. As a neurodivergent individual and student, I understand some the frustrations that can come with executive functioning issues. I bring a unique perspective and positive attitude that will definitely help your child reach their goals.
