About Laurel

I'd describe my personality as patient, caring, and fun-loving. I like working with kids because have a passion for working with kids and being a caregiver. I love to nurture their imaginations with playtime, art, and music. I'm looking for a job that works around my current position as teacher at a daycare. I started working with kids as a nanny to an infant 4 years ago. I also enjoyed working at a private preschool for special needs children. In my spare time, I like to play ukulele, draw, paint, cook/bake, and pin pal with my previous students. One thing you should know about me is I have a life-long passion for working with children and helping them develop and grow. My skills include following set routines, engagement with children, playtime, early childhood development, and creating a bond with children in my care.
