Hello, my name is Laurel! In 2018 I graduated Stevenson University with my bachelor's in Psychology. In 2012 I had my first job taking care of children ages 0-5 in my Church's nursery. In 2018 I started work as an applied behavioral analyst with neurodiverse children from ages 2-8 years. I worked for The Shaffer Center, and then Verbal Beginnings where I currently work. I have experience with both neurotypical and neurodiverse children. I am CPR certified and have received my RBT (registered behavioral technician) certification. While working with neurodiverse children I have learned how to create, implement, and record progress on behavior protocols from potty training to decreasing maladaptive behaviors. I am experienced with natural environment teaching, play therapy, and having fun! I am also able to do light house work and meal prep.
