About Laurel

Hello. Now that my two daughters are grown and out experiencing life and I'm semi-retired from my small business I'm looking for a way to spend my time that is enjoyable as well as helpful to parents in the thick of it! My approach is patient, calm, creative, and friendly. I'm comfortable enforcing household rules and always communicate with parents using their preferred method. I'm naturally curious and creative and love following those threads to see where they take me or in this case where they take children. The best parts of life are lived in the present and I'm pretty thrilled about living quite frankly! I was a certified teacher (I would need to relicense to become current). I'm open to caring for children age 0-11. I'm also happy to help with cooking, meal preparation, carpooling, light housekeeping, travel, crafts, and swimming supervision. My schedule is very flexible for the right family.
