Hello. I was an elementary school teacher for 26 years. I regularly had children on the spectrum in my classroom. As a teenager, I volunteered in a special needs summer school for 3-6-year-olds. I have been a nanny and respite care provider since November of 2023. I've cared for a toddler with Down Syndrome as well as several children on the spectrum. I'm currently caring for two school-aged boys on the spectrum.
