About Laura

I was a barber for 25 years until 2020, so I have experience working with people, including elderly. I've done house call haircuts & other help in small ways they needed. I was a caregiver for a handicapped woman in a wheelchair a few years ago. I'm an author of 1 faith-based book & currently doing online ministry, helping my parents, & driving my daughter to & from work. I have some back pain issues, so for these reasons I need to keep my availability part time & not overdo my back. I'm a happy, empathetic, patient, kind, understanding person. I love to laugh, help people feel good about themselves, make them smile, & help them know they matter greatly. I'd be a great candidate for things like light housework, being present with someone to play games or help write things (ex: grocery list, cards, notes for things, etc), carry on conversation with them, allow them to have someone to be a patient listening ear if they'd like to talk, & to just help them smile & lift their spirits!
