About Laura

I'm 37 years old and have over 20 years of experience babysitting and caregiving. I started babysitting when I was a teenager, and eventually worked as a full time nanny for three families, each with a baby and toddler. I've also cared for the elderly including my great Auntie Millie who passed away at 96. I have a younger sister with severe and profound autism who is non-verbal and has lived in a group home since she was 13. I've been around the neurodiverse my whole life, and am comfortable caring for children with special needs. My experience has taught me that patience, kindness, and love make life richer especially when working with children, people with special needs, and the elderly. I'm getting married in September and hope to have a family of my own someday!
