Hello! My name is Laura. I am 22 years old. I graduated last May from Cypress College in California where I earned an Associates Degree in Fine Art & Humanities. I'm new to Boulder, having just moved in August of 2023. I have nearly 10 years of experience babysitting/nannying, as well as other refined experience with children. I trained as a Junior Lifeguard with LA County for 5 years and went on to obtain certifications in first aid, CPR, and life-guarding. I worked as a certified swim instructor where I gained experience teaching all ages. In my senior year of high school, I was a student teacher of a preschool class of 3-4-year-olds. During my high school career, I also volunteered with my local Church on three separate mission trips to the Ukraine. These trips were heavily on focused on caring for the children of the most poverty stricken communities. I look forward to meeting you and your little ones!

Laura is hands down the best sitter we have used. She has been helping our family for 8 years now and both kids (now 8 and 10) adore her and look forward to their time with her. She is responsible and respected, while being fun, engaging, creative and sweet. We always come back to happy, peaceful children and a well cared for home. We feel safe knowing that Laura will know how to deal with any situation that may arise, she communicates well and has a solid Junior Lifeguard background that gives us a sense of security also.
