About Laura

I'd describe my personality as attentive, kind, and loving. I like working with kids because it reminds me that life can sometimes be fun and silly at any age. I'm looking for a job that I can connect with the family and work with them for awhile. I'm also looking for something flexible on both ends. I started working with kids when I was around 13 years old, when I started volunteering at my friend's parent's day care and at my gymnastics gym. In my spare time, I like to do yoga, go on walks, paint, watch movies, and read! My skills include coming up with creative games to play in free time, helping with school work, and helping out around the house. My experience includes work at IUPUI's day camp, tumbling classes for children, and 3 times as a nanny during the school year and summers.
