About Laura

Hi! I'm Laura, I moved here a year ago to be with my husband who's in the Navy. I have my Master's degree in social work and I have worked in a clinical setting with teenagers and adults for five years now, but currently work part time at home. I have plenty of experience with children in multiple different settings. I have worked as a teacher for a Christian after school program for six years, an educational program for four years, a camp counselor, vacation bible school volunteer, and spent a year being a nanny for a year while in grad school. I look forward to getting to know your family and being an essential element in helping the family unit. My professional experience and values can speak to who I am. I like to have fun but I can also be serious when needed (: I'm compassionate, fun loving, and dependable.
