About Laura

I'm a childcare provider with experience at managing groups of kids of various ages, 3 or 4 kids at the same time. I'm qualified in assessing children behavior, needs and health to determine appropriate teaching style and action. I've cared for children 3 months to 13 years of age. 2 years as a live-in nanny (I was an Au Pair with 2 wonderful families and over 5 years of experience as an independent sitter with kids of all ages. Word of mouth references have been my best way to stay busy. I am bilingual Spanish/English, willing to teach them the language as much as I can! I'm a very positive person, using only positive reinforcement and I love teaching through games and interactive activities. Physical/social/learning development will be reinforced. Psychology is fascinating for me. I have a Associate's Degree, I'm continuing studies to get a Spanish Teacher Degree. I am CPR trained. References are available upon request.
